Ambilin Sampah 2016

Spontaneous social project that I initiated out of concern for the scattered waste after the demonstrations in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

The project began with my initiative to create an action poster that I uploaded to my Facebook page, which then went viral. In this spontaneous action, I used visual strength and copywriting in several publication media that I created to coordinate this activity.

Role

Campaign Coordinator

In this social project initiative, my role was to design and manage. Specifically, I was responsible for planning and executing activities from start to finish, including pre-event preparation, event coordination, and post-event follow-up. My duties included pitching ideas, organizing registrants, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth execution of projects.

Result

I successfully gathered more than 15 people to clean up the waste in the demonstration area together. During the action, we received a lot of support from the people around us, which aligned with the initial goal of this activity to increase public awareness about waste. This activity received a lot of coverage from the national media in Indonesia.
